The third mantra, of using the bargaining power, is useful for high volume investors, who want a stock in large quantities but the stock is illiquid. Also, I am not sure if the same option is available with the online account of Sharekhan.

Hiding quantities bring some liquidity in the stocks and makes it easier to invest.
