Google Finance – The best stock summarizer

There are many sites which provide the stock summary of India stocks on one page including Money Control, Rediff Money Wiz, Sify Finance, Yahoo! Finance etc. However, Google Finance is what we liked the most, and potentially the best stock screener in making. For financials, economic times remains the best.

Compare:

compare

This is one feature that separates Google Finance from all others. The price charts are very quick providing data for even 10 years (or more). These can be used to compare the prices of your favourite stocks with other stocks or even with the various Sensex. The carts also show the Dividends, splits, bonuses and other announcements in the timeline.

Related Companies:

related

Google Finance also shows the related companies in the same industry along with their market caps and stock prices.

Stock Screener (Currently not available for Indian Stocks):

screener

This is feature that is really worth looking for. I have yet to see a professional stock screener for India stocks, and really wish that Google Finance soon starts providing the stock screener for Indian stocks too. Currently we like to use the “Awesome BSEXL” as an Indian stock screener.

Other Features:

Other good all-in-one-page stock websites:

Other promising sites which we like the most are Rediff Money Wiz and Guruji. Like Google Finance, Rediff Money Wiz too provides the compare feature but not as interactive and fast. Guruji is very new in finance search but offers a quick and useful interface.

Do share your favourite stock tracking sites in the comments.
